The property was exactly as described. Unexpectedly good weather all meant we visited many NT properties and Dover Castle. Camber Castle walk is very pleasant from the house. Excellent, fish at Webb's in Rye. Rye model is worth a visit – especially as an introduction to the town.
Mel and Elaine Waller, Middlesex, September 2011
The house itself is a treat with easy access to Rye and very well equipped. The best meal we had was at The Tuscan Kitchen – food was excellent and staff very attentive. Looking forward to coming back.
Adam and Filey, Middlesex, August 2011
Enjoyed a lovely stay with my son doing our kit Surfing Course at Camber Sands. I don't think I have ever stayed at a rental property where so much attention to details had been made. The Welcome Pack was very much appreciated and it was a joy and relief to see the various condiments to assist with cooking. We would definitely return.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at RyeView. The house is lovely and had everything we could have wished for. The secure and easy parking was a definite plus. We went to see a lot of gardens and on one wet day went shopping in Ashford at the Designer outlet. Winchelsea beach was perfect for long evening walks. We even took a day trip to London by train. All in all we've had a great fortnight. Thank you for making RyeView a real home from home.

We had lovely weather this week, which was unexpected surprise! Rye is a lovely town and we have definitely fallen in love with Winchelsea. The cottage is a vey pleasant and we enjoyed our stay.
Catherine, Noel and Ailish, Fife, Scotland, July 2011
We had heard a lot about Rye before coming here and it didn't disappoint. The house is very comfortable and the welcome pack was much appreciated. It's nice to be able to walk easily into the centre of Rye, where we enjoyed coffee and cakes in the Mariners Cafe and the Apothecary coffee shops – both great. The facilities in RyeView make it a 'home from home'.
Karen and Tim, East Yorkshire, July 2011
Had a wonderful time here in Rye, managed to relax and take advantage of a new place to explore. Walk to Camber is very pleasant as is the one to Winchelsea, past the castle and walking back past the harbour.
The Vane Family, West Sussex, July 2011
This is our second visit to 'RyeView' and it did not disappoint. For a lovelu meal would recommend 'Hope and Anchor' on top of the hill. For a snack the 'Mariners Cafe' in the High Street – run by a charity with adults with Learning Difficulties, excellent service and good value for money.
Tony and Joanna Gilbertson, Staffordshire, June 2011
My favourite place was Small Hythe, home of Ellen Terry, it was very personal. Tenterden was also a lovely town and Rye is unique. A must to see is the Burne-Jones window in St Mary's and the lovely views from the Ypres Tower. We were very impressed with the surrounding countryside.
Margaret and Peter, Cumbria, June 2011
We had a lovely time in Rye View and thoroughly enjoyed the house and its convenience to the town. Peter, my husband was brought up in Rye until he went to university so we know it very well indeed. In the old town itself we felt it had hardly changed at all. The weather could have been better but it didn't stop us from getting about.
We had a lovely holiday, we thought Rye View was excellent accommodation, located very well for Rye and all it has to offer, and of course, the surrounding area of East Sussex and Kent. We travelled around quite a bit during our stay, and we both really enjoy visiting the South East. Rye View is very well equipped and furnished. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.
We have a had lovely stay, thank you. Rye view is extremely comfortable and being so close to the town, was excellent for walking in to Rye during the day, and in the evening when we went out for dinner and were able to have a glass of wine and walk home - not something we can do here!
Tina Townsend, London, January 2011
"We were impressed with the freshness and cleanliness of this modern house and the standard to which it had been fitted out. It was a relaxing break with the town and salt marshes only a few minutes walk away. Seeing a Bittern on the Reserve as well as many other birds was very rewarding."
'Arrived today, the house is bright and welcoming. Sorry to leave after an excellent holiday'

'What a lovely book to write our comments we have enjoyed a splendid week in your lovely and thoughtfully appointed house, helped by terrific weather.'
Jean-Christophe, Charlotte and Calixte Mény-Boze, Belgium, February 2010
Our turn to congratulate you with the house, which you keep superbly, I have to say. Everything is perfect in it. If we were going to suggest something, maybe a bigger pan to cook a nice dish of pasta and an electrical adapter for overseas traveler’s (very useful on arrival if one has forgotten to buy one). Just simple suggestions but you are really doing an impressive job and we wish you all the best with your business with Ryeview in the future.
Wendy, Andrew and Kieran Vane, West Sussex, April 2010
We had a great week at RyeView, accommodation has been faultless and perfectly situated to explore Rye. We had great food and service at both Fletchers, in Lion Street and Carey"s in Strand Quay.
Kevin Stokell, The Netherlands, May 2010

Ian and Marion Fordham, Isle of Lewis, November 2010
We had a fabulous time in Rye and really enjoyed staying at Rye View. All in all we were very comfortable and well provided for and plan to make a return visit either next year or the one after. I should mention that an added bonus for me was the proximity of the gym across the road, which operates on a pay as you go basis and doesn't insist on an expensive induction or joining fee. Great Location. The house looks lovely and is nicely presented. A good eye for detail with good House Keeping. I am sure your guests are very happy when they stay. A really good job done. November 2010

Evening walk, going over old memories of Rye. Being so close to the town centre is a real bonus as it is easy to pop back for refreshments! Scotney Castle and house were brilliant. Dungeness and Rye Harbour nature Reserves were well worth the trip and we saw lots of birds – a Merlin and Marsh Harrier were especially good to see. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay.
